The Teaching WritingLebanon list is a subscription-based email list that focuses on issues related to the teaching of writing at the university level throughout Lebanon. It builds upon the discussions held during the first Symposium on the Teaching of Writing in Lebanon, which was held on November 9, 2013 at AUB and involved more than 50 participants from 8 universities.

In this forum, you can engage in discussions about the challenges and successes related to the teaching of writing at the university level in Lebanon. The general purpose of this list is:
1) to share ideas about the teaching of writing
2) to provide a platform for lively discussions about writing pedagogy and best practices
3) to request resources (or provide your own) to supplement your work as writing teachers
4) to organize cross-institutional collaboration on research, activities, or events
5) and to provide a venue through which announcements can be disseminated to interested parties across Lebanon.
